Women’s alternatives to neoliberalism are debated in forum alternative to G-20

11-11-2010
From 8 to 10 November, it was carried out in Seoul, Korea, the forum "Looking for 'the alternative and resistance' against neo-liberalism and for women's life", organised by the Korea Women’s Alliance, WMW member in that country.

The activity was part of the actions against the fifth G-20 meeting (held on 11 and 12 November) and had the presence of women from Korea, Japan and China. WMW activists from Pakistan and Philippines that should have also participated at the forum were not allowed to do so: one had its visa denied and the other two (including Jean Enriquez, WMW IC member) were deported at the moment of their arrival in Seoul.

Click to read Jean Eriquez's account on her deportation and the paper of the presentation she would do in Seoul. Read as well texts of other participants from Korea, Japan and China (only in English).
