México: Another world will not be possible if we do not work together to eliminate violence against women

WMW activists join with diverse organisations and individuals in Chiapas, Mexico, who are denouncing violence committed by a male “social activist”. They support women who have taken the decision to turn the sexual violence they have suffered into an issue of public and political importance. They invite us to take a stand and to question the abuse of power reflected in different forms of sexual violence, violence that is even more shocking and intolerable when it is found within “alternative” circles in which women put their trust, therefore placing them in a situation of greater vulnerability.
