Event in Amman, Jordan
15-08-2005
By Emily Naffa

We organized our main activity we organized on the 6th of August. It was a great event. Our friends from Tunisia, Palestine and Lebanon were very happy to join us in our activity and they expressed that in  their speeches. Women from 12 governorates were there representing their organizations and groups, as well as the  members of the upper house, the parliament, and municipalities.

The representative of the Arab League the deputy for the social affairs Ms. Nancy Bakir who was in Jordan. She  addressed the women attending our event and she is  going to write a report to the head of the Arab League about the march and the Charter.

The Palestinian women decided to take the charter to Ram Allah. They organize a big event on August 15.
