Estrasburgo: la MMM en los protestos durante la cumbre de l’Otan

Sob fuerte represión policial, miles de activistas estuvieron en Estrasburgo, Francia, entre los días 3 y 5 de abril, para protestar contra l’Otan – Organización del Tratado del Atlántico Norte – y demandar la paz y el desarmamiento. Las actividades formavan parte de la semana global de movilización contra el capitalismo y la guerra.

La Marcha Mundial de las Mujeres estuvo presente tanto en la manifestación, realizada día 4 de abril, e reprimida violentamente con gás lacrimogénio y bolas de borracha, cuanto en talleres durante la conferencia internacional paralela al encuentro de los jefes de Estado de l’Otan. Activistas francesas, inglesas y macedónicas de la MMM participaran del taller "No to Nato, No to War - NATO = Securité ?  - Gender questions", organizado por Mujeres de Negro y la LIFPL (Liga Internacional de Mujeres por la Paz y la Liberdad) donde hablaran de la organización de la acción internacional de 2010 y de nuestras perspectivas sobre paz y desmilitarización.
