LA CARTA ESTA 3.500 Mts. DE ALTURA EN LA QUIACA

Antonia Tolaba, madre de siete hijos. Nacida en la localidad puneña de Lluyuchayoc,  recibio la Manta y la Carta de la Solidaridad, en Salta Capital, para llevarla hasta La Quiaca. En la ciudad fronteriza con Villazón (Bolivia), hay un clamor muy fuerte, lanzado por las Organizaciones Sociales de ambos lados de la frontera.

El día 15, por la mañana, en el Puente Internacional se realizo el traspaso de los símbolos, que representan las esperanzas de una red global, apoyada por casi 6.000 grupos de mujeres en 163 países y territorios alrededor del planeta, cuyo enfoque principal es la lucha contra la pobreza, exclusión y la violencia hacia las mujeres.

En este acto de traspaso,  participaron organizaciones integrantes dela Marcha Mundial de Mujeres de Argentina y Bolivia y     fueron acompañadas tambien por los movimientos sociales  de los dos paises.

 

Lectura de la Carta en Buenos Aires

El domingo 13 de marzo, mujeres de todos los barrios de la ciudad vinieron a escuchar la lectura de la Carta Mundial de las Mujeres para la Humanidad. Entre la lectura de los valores, escucharon musica, poesia y teatro. Después de este evento, la Carta empezó su viaje al centro del pais y al norte, para cruzar la frontera boliviana.
