24 Hours of Feminist Solidarity - India
Indian women are planning activities such as a march in protest against hunger, a sit-in in front of the Chief Minister’s office in each state, forming a human chain and a poster exhibition. These activities are being planned by the 10 World March Centres being run in different states, and the members of the National Co-ordination Committee (NCC) of the World March. October 17 is a holiday in India with many festivities so it may not be possible for some of the states to organize activities.
