24 Hours of Feminist Solidarity - Cyprus
On the 17th of October, between 12-1 o’clock noon, there will be a call made to the women of Cyprus (Greek/Cypriot, Turkish/Cypriot, Armenians, Maronites and Roman Catholics). Women will gather at two different points and will march towards a meeting point in the occupied part of Nicosia, symbolically using clothes and baloons to symbolise the reunification of Cyprus. They will meet by the Buffer Zone where the United Nations Headquarters are functioning and create a Human Chain that will tighten symbolically and unify Cyprus, demanding the elimination of all dividing lines that separate the people of Cyprus.
