24 Hours of Feminist Solidarity - Martinique
There will be a demonstration on October 17 in front of the covered market in Fort-de-France. With the help of people passing by, the women of Martinique will complete their patchwork quilt (covered with figurines). They will show photos of last March 8th and also a film about women and children in the favelas of Brazil. A "solidarity soup" will be served between noon and one o'clock. There will also be speaches on the reality of poverty on the island of Martinique.
